Why I Chose Hydrogen As An Alternative Gasoline For My Toyota Corolla : New TOYOTA Car
Why I Chose Hydrogen As An Alternative Gasoline For My Toyota Corolla
by GARKO
My Ford Escort is hardly a Jaguar. It is not a babe magnet, you really have to use your horn liberally because it is small enough to be considered “sub-compact†and to be missed by other drivers weaving in and out of lanes I don’t have a snazzy car because I don’t have a snazzy checking account balance. And this is one reason why I appreciate a recent discovery that I discovered. It is called Water 4 Gas and it educated me how, with only a few dollars worth of stuff (primarily a mason jar and wires) I could switch my car engine to a gas/hydrogen hybrid. The hydrogen is produced through agitating H2O which emits bubbles which are hydrogen and which then go through the fuel system. So far what I have personally observed is Decreased gas consumption of about 30% than before. I notice better pickup from red lights The car runs smoothly and efficiently. Common sense tells me that I am safeguarding the environment by curtailing the emissions from my vehicle. It’s really a liberating feeling of satisfaction since I have some control over how much that I pay for gas because I am making my gas mileage so much more effective. We live in a country that was once free. But now everything is owned by insurance companies, drug companies, oil cartels and the Arabs and you have to get a permit or license and pay a tax on just about anything that we do. So when one finds a treasure like Water 4 Gas and gives me an advantage, to do something that gives me back some liberty and saves money and gives me a tool to fight back against government intervention in my life then that is cause for rejoicing. I assure you that your experience will be similar to as mine. Your gasoline mileage will be better, your auto’s engine will purr like new, you will help safeguard the environment and you be able to zoom from one end of your city to the other without keeping your eye on the gas tank! I hope you enjoyed my sharing my experience and I hope that I was helpful.

Buying A New Toyota Car
Buying A New Toyota Car
by Kelly Renaul
The cost of a new Toyota car nowadays equals about what my parents paid for their first home. It's not a purchase to be taken lightly. You want to do everything possible to ensure you get a great deal.
Never rush your decision. If you are completely without transportation, rent a vehicle until you find the right car. When you rush a purchase, you usually end up on the losing end of the deal.
Thanks to the internet, you can uncover the typical retail cost of a specific make and model. With a little digging, you can find out the wholesale cost as well. This information makes you a powerful negotiator.
You want a win-win situation with the Toyota dealership. They need to make some profit, and you need to feel you paid a fair price. It's fair to negotiate to a price that's $500 above dealer cost or about 20% off the sticker price. So take along your calculator when you shop.
If the only cars on the lot have expensive options you don't care for, you might want to order a car to your specifications. You might wait a bit, but will save money on options you don't need.
Check with the Toyota dealership to see if you can return the car if you don't like it. I did this once. The car I purchased ended up less comfortable than my old car, so the next morning I took it back for my check and my trade-in. Many dealerships now offer this option.
You may have heard the advice to shop the last day of the month for better deals. It's true that you might get a better deal from a salesman then.
As far as trade-ins go, do your research here, too. Knowing the value of your old car makes it easier to negotiate a better price for it. Try not to talk about a trade-in possibility until you get a purchase price.
I researched the value of my little red Corolla and found that it was $3500. One dealership offered me $1200 because "they'd have to repaint it". Another dealership offered me $3500 and complimented me on taking such good care of the engine. Stick to your guns when it comes to getting the value of your trade-in, especially if you've had your car serviced regularly.
You may want to advertise your older car and sell it privately. Typically you can get a better price this way, but it may take a little time.
A service contract will likely be brought into the negotiation. The consumer information I have read discourages buying an extra contract on a new car, as it's not likely a problem will occur during the first months of use.
Whatever you do, always read the fine print of any contract before signing it. Ask a bazillion questions about what certain phrases mean if you don't understand something.
Simply because the car just rolled off the factory line doesn't mean you should buy it without asking questions. Keep on your toes during the negotiation process. There's nothing like the thrill of getting a new car and creating a win-win situation for you and the dealer.

Toyota vs. Godzilla
Toyota vs. Godzilla
by Peter Robinson
Watching the latest Toyota Tundra commercial, and realizing what it really means, reminds one of watching Mike Tyson fight when he was young...there is a creeping feeling of dread and inevitability concerning the outcome.
Having identified the next automotive frontier to conquer, Toyota has commenced the process of dismantling their opponents, and--in the very best Sun Tzu (legendary general and author of 'Art of War') tradition--they are using their own tactics against them. In the long run, it may not matter that U.S. automakers have been building great trucks for decades and still do.
Because 'The Great American Truck' has long been marketed as a masculine icon, nearly all previous advertising campaigns have been an effort to out-macho the next guy. There is a rich tradition in the truck-commercial world to have the gruffest, manliest voice talk about the product in an inspiring way, but Toyota has dangerously upped the ante with this latest Tundra voice-over actor...this guy makes Sam Elliott sound like a giggling schoolgirl.
As soon as American ad guys realized that folks knew that Toyota was building many of their cars and trucks here in the States, they switched to an old-time 'History of America' pitch. You know..."We have been building these since they were flying over Pearl" and the like. But these little sideshows are really just a distraction from the real game: At some point, it will come back to the product-- the price, the quality, the cost of operation, the rate of depreciation...you know, the money.
In Toyota plants across the world, a single worker is expected to stop the assembly line if he thinks there is a problem or if he believes that there is a way to improve the process. In the U.S., labor unions are quite effective at fostering a variety of things, but creative thinking and individual recognition ain't among 'em. Not to say it doesn't happen, couldn't happen, but it is difficult to imagine one of our boys stopping the assembly line. Well, you know, without being hit in the face with a baseball bat.
The U.S. automakers most directly in the line of Tundra fire are obviously Ford and Chevy. This might actually be a good thing, because if people take the time to put all their options through the paces, they may find (to their surprise) that there is little--if anything--to choose between makes.
But what if we find that we are unable to fight them in the quality arena? That our powers of persuasion are blunted by superior voice-over actors? How soon will it be before we start thinking the unthinkable...that awakening their ancient foe from his Mothra-induced slumber might really be our last, best hope? And what message would that send to our children, when they ask--and they will ask--if there was any other way we could have competed for this business? "Daddy, why did we wake the monster"?

Toyota Camry 2002 - 2007
Toyota Camry 2002 - 2007
by Keon Scarlett
The 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid doesn't disappoint. With the same Hybrid Synergy Drive (HSD) technology found in its egg-shaped little brother, the Camry powers driver and passengers around using propulsion from its 105kW battery and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. You could write a thesis on all the technology under the hood, and it wouldn't have been surprising if Toyota had cut back on cabin electronics, if only to save on solenoids. However, the 2007 Camry Hybrid comes loaded with cabin features, most of which are standard factory installs. These include a JBL stereo system with MP3 playback (both CDs and portable devices via an auxiliary input), Bluetooth-enabled hands-free calling, and the unique Plasmacluster ionizer (more in Comfort). Also standard on the Camry Hybrid are voice-activated GPS navigation and XM Satellite Radio. Toyota equips the Camry with a well-appointed interior from which to control this array of tech; our test model had heated leather seats, dual-zone climate control, and a snazzy, digital instrument panel.
Toyota loads the Camry Hybrid with all the above tech and appointments and offers it at the single price of $25,900, plus a delivery charge of $580. Buyers can even choose leather seats over cloth at no additional charge. This pricing scheme differs from that of the standard-engine Camry, which ranges from $19,320 for a four-cylinder base model to more than $30,000 for a fully loaded V-6 version.
Owners of the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid can indulge their ecofriendly consciences in style. Optional leather-trimmed seats are complemented by a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift, lending the cabin a comfortable feel and a touch of class. Both front seats can be heated using toggle switches in the center console. At the other end of the climate scale, dual-zone climate control provides effective air conditioning with a high-tech twist in the shape of the Camry's Plasmacluster air filter. Perhaps the most unique element of this car's onboard technology, Plasmacluster works by artificially creating positive and negative ions that seek out and surround harmful airborne substances, such as mold spores, microbes, fungi, odor, germs, and bacteria. Although there will be accusations of first-degree gimmickry leveled at Toyota for making this a selling point of the car, there is a certain brand consistency in the Camry Hybrid offering cleaner in-cabin air. After all, if you're driving an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV) car, why should you have to breathe other people's burned-gasoline smog?
The 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid comes with the Plasmacluster ionizer as standard.
With good, clean, filtered air in their lungs, drivers of the Camry Hybrid can talk to their hearts' content using the car's as-standard Bluetooth interface and hands-free calling functions. It took us less than a minute to pair our phone to the system, after which we could make calls using either voice-command dialing or a virtual keypad in the Camry's dash-mounted touch-screen LCD, as well as by simply dialing into our Motorola Slvr L2.
Sound quality for hands-free calls was tolerable but lacked the crisp clarity of the stereo system. From the other end of the line, our Bluetooth buddy John said that we were comprehensible, albeit a little tinny and indistinct. Transferring cell phone contacts to the onboard address book is possible only one entry at a time; those with a lot of friends will have to set aside at least a couple of hours to get them all on speed dial.
Calls can be made either by voice command or via the in-dash LCD touch pad.
Sharing the LCD touch-screen interface with the phone is the Camry Hybrid's GPS navigation system, which we found to be admirably equipped with information and easy to program by hand, though less amenable to voice commands. Destinations can be entered using the onscreen keypad in either A-to-Z or QWERTY configuration, and when in map mode, the screen can be set to display a full map or split between an overhead view and either zoomed-in details or a compass. The GPS was reliable around town and quick to recalibrate when we went astray, but the unit completely lost its bearings on a trip through the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Voice recognition on the Toyota nav unit was also a little disappointing; after learning a list of specific instructions from the manual, we found that certain commands were compatible in only specific screens, which meant a lot of fiddling with the Back button and considerable manual pushbutton work to enable use of the voice-command function. As the point of a voice control is to eliminate pressing buttons when on the road, we found the voice option self-defeatingly complicated. When we finally arrived at the right screen to enter voice directions, our frustration was compounded by the system's inability to interpret our commands (we had no idea that there was such a place as San Ysidro until we tried in vain to locate an address in San Francisco).
Despite these drawbacks, the navigation system is packed full of information. Drivers are able to enter destinations by address, freeway entrance, coordinates, and intersection, as welll as by the name or category of a point of interest (POI). And there of plenty of POIs to choose from; a cursory search for points of interest including the word memorial turned up more than 1,000 results.
A number of other neat options can be accessed through the touch screen, including a display for battery life, cruising range, and gas-mileage readouts; an energy monitor showing an overhead schematic of the car and its propulsion sources; and a calendar with a facility to add dated memos, which then pop up on the screen on their appointed day.
An overhead schematic of the Toyota Camry Hybrid shows the driver where power is coming from at any one time.
As the navigation unit takes up so much space, the Camry's standard JBL six-disc CD changer is downgraded to a JBL four-disc model. However, this doesn't affect the stereo's number of speakers (eight), range of supported playback formats (MP3 CD, WMA, XM or Sirius satellite radio, AM/FM tuner), or auxiliary input jack for playing music directly from a portable MP3 player. And the sound quality of the stereo is exceptional. Toyota labels its in-car audio experience psychoacoustics, which rivals Plasmacluster for gimmickry. But there is no denying that the system sounds good right through the range, with solid bass and clear separation when cranked up and tuned into XM's classical channel.
Toyota's latest hybrid family member looks markedly different from its Camry ancestors; from the side, a fuller rear end and more parabolic lines will likely have passersby mistaking this car for something off the Mercedes-Benz drawing board. Toyota's iconic Hybrid Synergy Drive logos on the tailgate and both fenders subtly let the world know that this car is ecofriendly and--more important--acts as the ultimate alternative-cosmopolitan status symbol.
Toyota's distinctive Hybrid Synergy Drive logo is found on the front fenders and the tailgate.
The 2007 Camry Hybrid qualifies as a full hybrid, which means it can run only on gas, only on electric, or on a mixture of both. Like the Prius, the Camry Hybrid uses Toyota's HSD propulsion system, which incorporates a fearsome amount of technology to allow the car to run as efficiently as possible while maintaining maximum performance. The HSD uses a series of interconnected components, including a gasoline-powered combustion engine, a nickel-metal-hydride battery, a generator, a power-split device, and an electricity inverter. When the car is in motion, power from the gasoline engine is split between the drivetrain--to move the car--and the generator, which uses the resultant electricity either to drive the electric motor to help turn the wheels or to power electronics, as well as to charge the battery, which can then be used to drive the car on its own.
When the Camry is pottering around town, it can survive in electric-only mode, which makes for a smooth--and deathly quiet--ride. Initially, it can be quite unnerving to drive a car of this size in electric mode; more than once, we had to remind ourselves that the engine had not stalled when getting ready to pull off from the lights. To counter our butterflies in these situations, we found that we would step extrahard on the gas pedal to ensure that we didn't hold up the traffic flow, an action that would cause the car to decide that we needed more power and to call upon the gas engine for extra torque. As the Camry switches from electric only to gas-and-electric, the car splutters and judders as it balances the two power sources--a minor design flaw but one we can live with. An LCD in the instrument panel informs the driver which fuel sources are currently being used, while a dial to its left gives an instantaneous readout of current gas mileage.
When called upon, the 147-horsepower 2.4-liter variable-valve timed engine delivers a surprising amount of oomph, enabling the car to pass with ease on the freeway. Acceleration is incredibly smooth due to the continuously variable transmission, which doesn't have the hard gearshifts of a standard automatic.
Handling on the Camry is generally responsive, but we found that when crawling along in traffic, the steering wheel has an alarming tendency to pull sharply to the left or right depending on the camber of the road. This may have something to do with the Toyota's high-tech VDIM systems (see Safety section), but we found it very disconcerting.
A 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine combines with a 105kW battery to power the Toyota Camry Hybrid.
Irrespective of all the technology on this car, there are two principal reasons that people will fork out another $1,000 more for the hybrid than for the top-of-the-range petrol-engine 2007 Camry: its fuel economy and its relatively low environmental impact. EPA ratings for the Camry Hybrid are 40mpg and 38mpg for city and highway, respectively. In a mixture of city and highway driving, we observed an average of 35mpg--below the official ratings but still remarkably efficient for a full-size sedan.
The Camry Hybrid qualifies as an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emission Vehicle (AT PZEV), which means it includes advanced technology components, as well as a drive mode that produces zero evaporative emissions.
As well as protecting the environment, the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid shields its driver and passengers with a decent array of safety features. The Camry Hybrid features Toyota's Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management (VDIM) system, which picks up data from a series of sensors around the car and applies it to the car's range of standard safety features. They include ABS, traction control, electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), and vehicle stability control. In situations where the sensors detect that the car is losing control, the VDIM reacts by automatically applying brake force, controlling steering inputs, and coordinating the safety systems to work in sync to maximize accident prevention. Adding to the safety tech is a tire-pressure monitoring system and Whiplash Injury Lessening (WIL) seats, which Toyota first introduced in the Prius. The Camry also provides an impressive array of engine and systems diagnostics via its in-dash LCD, which can be programmed to store maintenance information for most of the car's moving parts.
Scheduled maintenance information for a large number of mechanical and electrical systems can be viewed via the LCD.
Like all 2007 Camrys, the Hybrid comes with dual-stage advanced SRS air bags. Driver and front passenger air bags, front side air bags with head protection, and side head-curtain air bags all come standard, as does a driver's knee air bag.
The 2007 Camry Hybrid is yet to be rated for frontal- and side-impact crash safety, although its scores a respectable four stars in its rollover rating.
The 2007 Camry Hybrid is covered by a three-year/36,000-mile warranty for repairs and replacements, a five-year/60,000-mile power train warranty, and an unlimited-mileage rust protection warranty. The Camry Hybrid also has an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty on all hybrid-related components, including the high-voltage battery, the battery control module, the hybrid control module, and the inverter.

Toyota Parts and the Japanese automobile ingenuity
Toyota Parts and the Japanese automobile ingenuity
by Anthony Fontanelle
Japanese automobile ingenuity is evident in the products of Toyota Motor Corporation. Since the company's debut more than seven decades ago, Toyota has remained in the lead as it left its Asian contenders, like Honda and Nissan, at bay. In addition to that, Toyota is also hailed as the second largest automaker in the world. This makes the Japanese company next to American General Motors Corporation. The quality products this automaker has established in years helped it reach its current status quo. Functioning as the foundation for every model is the quality-made Toyota Parts.
Toyota Parts undergo series of research and tests. Such protocol ensures the efficiency of the auto parts before these are installed in a particular model. A Toyota vehicle equipped with well-made components does not only achieve performance on or off road but as well as attain utmost safety all the time. For models of the company that are geared toward tougher tasks like towing or hauling, bigger and tougher Toyota Parts are used. The Toyota compact pick-up truck Tacoma, for example, is geared with a strong body kit parts, beefed up suspension parts, and high-powered powertrain, among others. These Toyota Parts allow this truck, which hailed as the Truck of the Year by Motor Trend Magazine in 2005, to meet the demands it is designated to.
Another notable quality of the Toyota Parts is that it is in sync with the current automobile technology. The Japanese automaker ensures that its cars, sport utility vehicles, trucks, among others, are equipped with the latest technology that brings a lot of convenience to users. Aside from benefiting the Toyota owners, Toyota Parts are also geared toward greener effects. This means that the company ensures that the auto parts used in its products are powerful yet friendly enough as to not aggravate the environment problems.
Clearly, Toyota Parts, which are crafted to perfection through years of experience, make the company's products among the most trusted models in this ever-changing automobile industry. Japan's Toyota Motor Company has proven that it is indeed competent enough to be a global player in the business and go against companies from the west.

On-site Corporate Entertainment for Toyota in Palm Springs: New Toyota new car review 2008
On-site Corporate Entertainment for Toyota in Palm Springs: New Toyota new car review 2008
by Jeffrey Finn
To reward their employees, Toyota asked Hot On Broadway to provide an event full of "wow moments". But with challenging room and stage layouts, can a customized Broadway show be built in time to reward the audience? Here's how Hot On Broadway met the challenge...This annual black-tie event was located at the beautiful Esmeralda Resort in Indian Wells, CA just outside of Palm Springs. The attendees were all US-based owners of Toyota dealerships within the domestic Material Handling Unit. Following an outdoor cocktail reception, awards ceremony, and dinner for 400 guests, our cast of twelve Broadway performers took Toyota's event to a new level. The exciting challenge in producing this event was that the stage dimension - designed solely for the purpose of Toyota's business meetings - was just 12-feet deep, and a very long 88-feet across. Clearly, not ideal dimensions for a Broadway show with full singing and dancing. We knew we had to keep the choreography, including entrances and exits, on a tight linear plane. One effect that enhanced the audience experience was that above the stage was an 88-foot long video screen, seamlessly divided into three sections. The center section of the screen featured a dimensional central curve out towards the audience. It was a unique and exciting compliment to the stage design. The high definition video and media designed exclusively for the performance added a thrilling element to the Broadway performance utilizing IMAG, video, logos, and close-ups of the audience. We accommodated this stage challenge by embracing a very presentational approach to the event. Our twelve actors "coupled off" for many of the songs, capturing the entire audience across specific locations of the wide ballroom as we spread the show across the wide stage. Most importantly, this approach brought the entire audience very close to the show, and achieved a direct connection with each of the performers. Our cast was pulled from the Broadway productions of Chicago, Grease, Les Miserables, Rent, Mary Poppins, The Phantom of the Opera, and others. Opening with "Oh, What A Night!" from Jersey Boys, the audience enthusiastically celebrated the entertainment, and jumped to a standing ovation at the conclusion of the evening. Other hit songs that wowed the crowd that night included "Circle of Life," "All That Jazz," and "We Go Together." Autographs, photographs, and a meet and greet with the cast continued long into the evening. In the end, all of Toyota's objective were not just met, but exceeded, and everyone was thrilled with the Broadway entertainment. Our company was honored to be part of such a successful event.

The Garmin StreetPilot gps makes that possible. The Garmin StreetPilot gps is the ultimate traveling escort and leader to your destination. With the StreetPilot gps, you are able to set a course and relax while you follow the directions mapped out for you by the navigational system. In addition, automated voice prompts will alert you to deviations in the route and turns when needed. You can touch a button and you instantly see every exit, ATM, restaurant, rest area and gas station on the color screen.MapSource and City Navigator are just two of the downloadable CD-ROM's you get with the StreetPilot so you can put them on your computer and then transfer the information onto the gps receiver unit. Then, just place the gps unit on the dashboard of your vehicle and you are ready to go, without any hookup fees. The Garmin StreetPilot gps takes you where you want to go and if you are going down a shortcut, which is often the case, and it might be a dirt or gravel road and you wish not to be taking this route, simply hit the redirect or detour button and the gps will turn you around and find another route to your destination. Another 'trick' is to put address numbers in the front of the waypoints, this reduces the address to six to 10 characters and renames it, making it easier to find. In the points of interest - POI - put in areas where there are slow driving required, such as school zones and hospitals. Also mark where there are traffic cameras to remind yourself to slow down in these areas so that you won't get caught or get a ticket in the mail, which will save you time and money. There are many accessories you can purchase to upgrade your Garmin StreetPilot gps unit. There is the A/C - PC adapter which allows you to connect your gps to your computer. There is also the standard A/C adaptor for charging your gps receiver without having to connect it to the computer. There are several varieties antenna's available to boost the strength of your StreetPilot gps. In addition there are different styles of mounts for the gps navigational system, such as the window 'arm' mount which allows you to place the gps where you can see it best, or the adhesive 'disk' which allows you to place the gps on a 'sticky' pad making removal fast and easy. The Garmin StreetPilot gps is small, about the size of a baseball, and portable, you can take it out of the car and carry it with you around town or into the woods to help you find your way back to the car after hiking all day. There are many practical uses for the Garmin StreetPilot gps and finding your way in a big city is only one of them.

Volvo's City Safety System Monitors Distances in Tight Driving Situations : New Volvo new car review 2008
Volvo's City Safety System Monitors Distances in Tight Driving Situations : New Volvo new car review 2008
by Rob Parker
The engineers at Volvo are no strangers to cutting edge safety systems. In 2006 the Volvo S80 could be outfitted with Collision Warning and Brake Support alerts. The systems sent visible and audible cues to the driver when the gap between his car and the one ahead tightened up too rapidly. In addition to the warnings, the brakes were prepped for use, but the driver's foot still had to do the work. Now, the Volvo XC60 crossover, set to go on sale in Europe this summer and coming to the United States in 2009, will be outfitted with City Safety, technology that will not only monitor the gap between cars and prep the brakes, but if necessary, do the braking itself.Using an optical radar system built in to the windshield at the same level as the rear view mirror, City Safety monitors ahead of the car to a distance of approximately 20 feet (six meters). Intended for low-speed, bumper-to-bumper driving at rates of under 20 mph, the radar will pre-charge the brakes when the gap begins to get tight so the driver can respond more effectively. If, however, a collision is imminent, City Safety uses a hydraulic pump to activate the brakes on its own.The unit's algorithm runs fifty calculations per second, constantly determining the necessary braking speed to prevent a collision, factoring in both the car's speed and the distance to the car ahead of its position in the lane. When the calculated force needed to brake exceeds a pre-determined level and the driver has not physically responded by tapping the brakes, City Safety concludes that a collision is imminent and intervenes. The system will work during the day and at night, but can be limited by weather conditions including fog, mist, heavy rain, or snow. Sensors in the windshield will alert the driver if dirt has built-up to a level that will compromise the unit's ability to scan the road ahead.Statistics compiled by Volvo indicate that more than 75% of reported collisions actually occur when the vehicles involves are moving at speeds of less than 20 mph. The company's engineers optimistically predict that the City Safety system has the potential to reduce such low-speed collisions by as much as 50%. Although the units will be standard on the XC60 crossover, Volvo has not announced a decision on inclusion with other models or if City Safety will be offered as a standard feature or an available option when it does proliferate to those models. The XC60, which will be built at the company's assembly facility in Ghent, Belgium, is being described by Volvo as the safest car it has ever built. The City Safety system joins a growing body of collision detection and prevention units being incorporated into 21st century vehicles, most geared toward blind spot monitoring and enhancing the driver's view and perception of the space around the car. Volvo's approach should prove particularly useful in crowded urban settings where commuters are subject to both tight driving conditions and the potential for road rage in other drivers.

The $13 Million Dollar Ford Motors Case: New Ford Hybrid cars
The $13 Million Dollar Ford Motors Case: New Ford Hybrid cars

Cases that go on for years tend to be big news once they get fully investigated and a jury arrives to a conclusion based upon all the evidence brought to the court room. The American legal system is one of the best in the world however it is not perfect and when it comes to cases which handles matters of laws things can get pretty complicated and legal battles can extend for years. Lets take a look at a recent case which has grabbed people's attention due to the parties involved and because this case had to be handled by the supreme court of Georgia. It was February of 1999 when Anne M. Gibson was traveling through Clarke County driving her 1985 Mercury Marquis, all of the sudden the owner of a Toyota truck hit the back of her vehicle causing a fire which ultimately killed Anne. Normal death conditions taking in consideration this was a car accident, this is what some people think however the investigation presented by James E. Butler and the plaintiff shed new light as to the reason this accident resulted in a fiery car crash which took the life of Anne. The parties involved in such case were Ford Motors, the co-defendant Draw-Tile (a company which manufactures trailer hitches) and obviously the husband of the victim. The argument presented by the plaintiff's attorney was that the way Anne's car was designed made the gas tank very vulnerable during a rear collision, the co-defendant Draw-Tile was involved because the trailer hitch which was present during the time of the accident had dangerous bolts which may have punctured the tank which ultimately resulted in an intense fire. After a prolonged deliberation the Supreme Court of Georgia upheld the 13 million dollar judgment against this giant automotive company which refused to produce to the plaintiffs lawyers a set of crash test results. This case was decided in March 28, 2008 and shall be referred to as the "Ford Motor Company vs Gibson" case.Georgia Supreme Court Justices had to handle the case due to the number of appeals filed by the plaintiff. This just comes to show that big companies can take a case to the bitter end regardless of human loss, fortunately for Mr. Gibson the Justices agreed with previous court rulings.

How to Cut Your Gasoline Bill in Half : New Auto Hybrid cars 2008
How to Cut Your Gasoline Bill in Half : New Auto Hybrid cars 2008

I don’t know about you, but with gas prices the way they are, I’m struggling just to survive. I’m a single mom with four kids, a mortgage, auto loan etc.Spending hundreds of dollars a month on gas for my car is absolutely ridiculous! What really gets me mad is, not only have the oil companies driven the price of gas up, they are in co-hoots with the auto makers and the Federal Government to keep automobile engines running inefficiently by manipulating the fuel to air mixture ratio to convert the fuel you put into your car into only 25% actual energy for movement and the rest is unburned and blown out your tail pipe. This inefficient burning also is bad on your engine, thus ensuring failure within twelve to fifteen years, if you’re lucky. When I found out the technology currently exists to create a gasoline/water hybrid that would cut your fuel expenses by 50%, I was furious.I’m not talking about hydrogen fuel cells either. I’m talking about a very practical and inexpensive system that separates the water molecules into what is called Brown’s Gas which mixes with the gasoline and allows it to burn more efficiently, drastically improving gas mileage while reducing engine wear.Did you know that you can actually build one of these systems and install it in your vehicle in less than a day? And for under $150.00?I was shocked to hear about it as well but actually saw it in operation. My neighbor added it to his car a few months ago and cut his fuel cost by 80%.You don’t have to modify your engine either. In fact, you can remove the system in under three minutes…not sure why you would want to though.I’ve installed one on my car recently and it really was as easy as my neighbor claimed it to be. I’m a woman who has trouble changing a light bulb so if I can do it, anyone can.I’ve seen a drastic improvement in engine performance, no more knocking and my fuel mileage is way better. I’m tracking it over a few months so I know exactly what I’m getting but my wallet already feels the relief!
